Series of Unfortunate Events

Unfortunate Events is about three Children who become orphans when their parents mysteriously die in a fire. Mr Poe ( the person who chooses where the children live) chooses a man called Count Olaf who turns out to just want the Children's fortune and will go at any lenghts to get it. When the children finally convince Mr Poe about the Count's evil scheme he tries to move them as far away from Count Olaf but the Count always finds them.
I like this book because the author (Lemoney Snicket) writes as though he is actually talking to you and explains words you might not understand. It is a thrilling story with unique adventures you have alongside the characters.

Sherlock Holmes

I love reading books about mysteries and riddles so that is why I decided to read Sherlock Holmes ( I also had watched the tv series and wanted to hear more about Sherlocks Adventures!)

Sherlock Holmes is a great book if you want to read about impossible riddles solved and gory murders that are simple to explain but mindboggling hard to work out.

Sherlock Holmes is about a consulting detective who is the cleverest man on the planet he can tell your life story by having one glance at you. He always observes his surroundings and not just look at them like us; he can tell where you have been by looking at different marks on your shoes and the differrent expressions you wear. The book is about all his mysteries and hoe he solved them all and remarkably facinating how even the author could make up so many mysteries!
